Montpelier Hill runs from West Park Street to one of the major roundabouts of the city centre and has all manner of attractions to see. It is particularly well known for its excellent cafˇs and restaurants, and also a number of antique shops. It is also home to a branch of the famous Sotheby's auction houses and surrounded by beautiful gardens and flower beds.
These gardens are a popular area with locals who come to enjoy the sunshine and perhaps take their lunch break on the grass. Harrogate has a number of very attractive areas and Montpelier Hill is certainly one of the most picturesque.
