Bettys Cafe
Established at the beginning of this century Betty's has earned its self a high reputation for cakes and biscuits as well as many different varieties of breads from around the world - and of course a wide range of speciality Teas and Coffees!

Open daily fom 9 am to 9 pm, seating for 150.

Pianist daily at 1800 (that'll be Six O'clock then..). Traditional Yorkshire food, speciality tea, coffee and cakes. Highchairs.

Betty's Cafe opened its doors for the first time in 1919 just as the founder, Frederick Belmont, had visualised – customers were greeted by a tempting array of delicious Yorkshire and Continental confections in the shop, and an elegant Café Tea Room served both teas and meals in the traditional English style. It was an immediate success.

In the present day one million customers a year visit Bettys.

There are two Bettys Cafe Tea Rooms in the spa town of Harrogate, one in teh town centre (seen above) and another in the RHS Gardens at Harlow Carr.
